Sponsored by Canoe Cubs: Seeking creative, adventurous captains to build a floatable boat with just glue, tape, paint and cardboard! Select a crew of 2 to 4 members and start designing! Cardboard boats will attempt to race a 200 meter course on Lake Petit. Categories include Youth, ages 9 – 17 years, Adult, Family and Clubs & Organizations. Awards will be presented to the fastest boat, most creative boat, best sunken ship and the most spirited team. Cost is $20 per team, and this event is open to all Big Canoe property owners and their guests. Spectators are encouraged and Canoe Cubs will provide concessions and entertainment on the Lake Petit dam, near the flag pole.
