When Craig and Julie Warner decided to build a home in Big Canoe, they were at first anxious about who to hire for the job. This wasn’t their first rodeo when it came to building a new home, and all of their friends who had built a home in Big Canoe had gone with an outside builder. Big Canoe Company, LLC offered to finance the build if they bought one of their lots and used their builder, making them an offer they couldn’t refuse. Their worries were quickly assuaged as they met and began to work with “the Matts”;Matt Barnes (VP of Building) and Matt Garrett (Supervisor of Building).

It was the Warner’s fondest wish to be in their new home in time to celebrate Christmas 2016 with their family. Everyone around them scoffed, telling them that builders are never on time and that they would surely be having Christmas in the rental. But not only did the Matts keep their estimated closing date of December 16, they were able to deliver the finished house a week early! No detail was spared and no corners were cut despite the rapid build; their new home was even lovelier and better quality than they’d imagined possible.

Michelle Guest-Faufau (Customer/Design Coordinator) and Brandi Stuckey Weaver (Production Coordinator of Building) also played a huge role in the positive experience that the Warner’s had. The Warner’s are so proud of Big Canoe Building Group’s work, that they’ve generously offered to let anyone considering building in Big Canoe the chance to see their stunning new home in person.
